Dancewear Requirements
Below is a list of appropriate dancewear for classes at Ingrid's.

  • 3-6 Year Olds: Any color leotard and tights. Pink ballet slippers. Tan tap shoes.
  • 7-12 Year Olds: Any color leotard and tights. Leotard must be worn in class. Jazz pants or shorts w/tights are acceptable. Pink ballet slippers. Jazz tap shoes. Slip-on boot for jazz. Hair must be pulled back in pony tail, braided or in bun. No jewelry. No baggy t-shirts.
  • Combo I: Any color leotard and tights. Jazz pants. Pink ballet slippers. Tan tap shoes.
  • Combo II: Any color leotard and tights. Jazz pants. Pink ballet slippers. Tan tap shoes. Tan jazz shoes.
  • Ballet: Any color leotard and tights. Ballet skirt. Pink ballet slippers. Hair must be in a bun. No jewelry.
  • Jazz: Any color leotard and tights. Jazz pants or shorts w/tights are acceptable. Black slip-on jazz shoes. Tan slip-on jazz shoes. Regular slip-on jazz boot to be worn in class. Knee pads. No dance sneakers. No jewelry.
  • Tap: Any color leotard and tights. Jazz pants. Black tap shoes. Tan tap shoes. No jewelry.
  • Pointe: Any color leotard and tights. Ballet skirt. Pointe shoes. Hair must be in a bun. No t-shirts. No jewelry.
  • Modern: Any color leotard and tights. Capri length pants can be worn. No shoes are worn for this class.

Order from Ingrid's
We offer dance shoes for the creative movement dancer to the competitive dancer. Our shoes are priced just slightly above our cost as a service to our patrons. Prices range from $15 to $35 depending on what kind of footwear is required. A "Used" bin of shoes is also available, featuring footwear for sale by our parents and students.
